The Japanese sister set is called Storm Emeralda and has been available in Japan since July 31, 2026 – named after Rayquaza's role in Pokémon Emerald, where it lives in the ozone layer.

Delta Reign is the English version of this Japanese set – not identical, but closely related in content. TPCi has not yet released an official German set name.

Mega-Rayquaza-ex – the clear headliner. Rayquaza has not had a prominent role in the TCG since the XY era. This return is accordingly the most anticipated card of the entire Mega Era 2026.

Mega-Golurk-ex, Mega-Malamar-ex, Mega-Golisopod-ex – the three other confirmed Mega ex. Unlike in previous sets of the Mega Era, these are not Pokémon from the Mega Dimension DLC of Legends: Z-A, but independent additions for this set.

Legendary Stadium Cards: the new mechanic

Delta Reign introduces split Stadium cards – a concept that the community immediately compares to the LEGEND cards from the HeartGold & SoulSilver era. Each Legendary Stadium card consists of two halves that must be played together from hand. Only when both parts are in play do they count as a single Stadium card.

Three such pairs are confirmed for the set: Legendary Ocean Trench, Legendary Summit, and Legendary Lava Lake. Normally, there would be a gap of six to eight weeks between a Japanese set and its English version. For Delta Reign, it's about 14 weeks.
